I think it’s time to start writing again.
My Dad, who was 66, passed away May 30th, 2009. He is a huge inspiration for me and always will be. Hell, he’s the reason I’m so passionate about all things art and design. That, then, led to our all-things Apple obsession. Not to mention the endless discussions after every keynote about how Steve Jobs has “done it again!”. Aside from that, he was what he referred to as “an endless vault of useless information”. I’m the kind of person who’s chock full of questions, and till the day he died, there wasn’t one thing that I asked him about that he either didn’t have the answer to or at least have an extraordinarily close idea as to what the answer might be.
Above is a photo of Dad’s sculpture ‘Model Lady’. It was inspired by my mother and me at the time, 1981. My birth year. I’m abstractly represented by the ‘U’ shape in the front, which is me waiting to be born. And, incidentally, my last post here was on Dad’s birthday.
Now, I’m by no means a religious person, but my guess is, wherever Dad is at he’s got the internet, his favorite Mac and a cup of coffee, reading my writing.
I love and miss you terribly, Pop.

After a little trial and error, I finally got Wordpress for iPhone up and running. In fact, this post was brought to you by thumbs.

I’m freelancing for ideapark. My computer crashed, big time. I have a few cool side projects that are about to start. More soon.

Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart took it to Jim Cramer. However, I agree with Jon, in that, it’s unfortunate that Jim became the face of all of this. But, at the end of the day, I think more reporters and commentators need to shown in this light.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided Liam needed a brother. So after tirelessly searching the interweb, I found Noel. He’s a 4 month old Chihuahua and quite adorable.

Since we last spoke, I’ve moved back to mid-western part of the U.S. It’s good to be closer to family and friends. I’m freelancing for a while yet. However, towards the end of March I’ll be heading to ideapark for 3 months. From there, where ever the wind blows.
In other news a new design of mine has launched. It’s a site called 10to1. We’re still working out a few kinks and updating a few pages. But for the most part it’s all set.
